Check for burnt out solenoid. They can be purchased at any automotive store, you dont need to spend the extra cash on OEM

I just switch out my turn signal switch but the signal lights in rear dont blink the lights inside turn on but no blink? i have loose wires in the front of the car could that be the problem?

Yes. Tighten the connections. Check the bulbs. Turn the signal light switch on, and then get out and check the lights. If there is one that is not on, change the bulb. Then try the other direction.

Turn signal doesn't come on until I hit my hazard light on & off

it could be duel filament bulb that is blown and shorting inside the bulb to the other circuit, you may need to remove all indicator and hazard bulbs and check. I would also try a new flasher can

Brake light/turn sigs dont work. But lights are on?

Ok, GM had a problem with their hazard light switches in the years of around 2001-2005. These caused some bizarre workings concerning the hazards, lights, turn signals, etc. The circuits overlap, and when the switch malfunctions, it makes for some odd happenings. Normally, when the hazards are on, they cancel out the brake lights and the turn signals, since they use the same circuits. The normal taillights use a different filament in the same bulb, which is why they light up brighter when you press the brakes. The aftermarket has come up with replacement switches in response to these inherent problems, so do not get your switch from GM. Places like RockAuto.com will sell these, though not necessarily this place, it's just the one I use. Usually, GM put these in the steering column, so replacement can be tricky for the average person, as it involves taking apart some of the steering column.

Turn signal

Check the earthing of the left hand side blinkers first both front and rear, since the right hand side is functioning we can rule out tht the flasher unit is ok.
Not bad too to check the bulbs of the left side blinkers if they are of the required voltage and watts both front and rear.
Hope this helps!

change the brake light switch ,or rewire the whole lot to europeon standard where its all seperate.Stupid american idea where the brake light is used as the indicator as well.Had a few like this to import and had to rewire the whole rear back lights as their is some fancy brake light switch on these cars with a whole lot of wires .i just cut the whole bunch and rewired the lot as our regulations do not permit this type of concoction.best of british with it though as although its not difficult to do its amazing how many so called mechanics run when they more than two wires

Turning signals dont blink

Problem is the Turn Signal "FLASHER" unit, 1.Turn on Emergency FLASHERS 2. Go under Dash while they are on Listen -for Clicking sound then feel for it 3. Should Be a Silver Round Unit About as Big IN ROUND as Half dollar coin 4. ok now Look Around for the SAME EXACT Thing Clipped onto Something Under dash At Driver side Usually Between Steering wheel and Center HUMP in Floor, 5. once you find it Take OUT the first One you Found Emergency FLASHER) and 6. Put it In Place of Turn Signal Flasher, 7. Turn off Emergency Flashers- Turn Key in "ON" Position but don't start then Try Turn Signals. Yaaaa !!!! they work ?? LoL hopefully this Does the trick, if they work Buy new one and Replace Always Use NEW For TURN Signals as they are used Much More than Emergency Flashers. Hope this is Good Instructions For you and Helps you Solve The Problem, Please DONT Forget to RATE ME Thank you [email protected]
