The small hole is a drain hole from the spark plug recesses, so you may have a rocker cover leak.
Pull the tank off and have a look down the plug recesses and you should see where it is going

Kxf4502008 the bike is running no smoke no knocks or bangs I've noticed after one small ride my h coolent has used lots and clream colourd fluid it comeing out a pipe off thse left side off engine

You'll need to check your oil for similar 'cream' coloured fluid. The most common reason for this 'creamy' or 'mayonnaise' fluid is a blown head gasket. The lost coolant could be leaking into the oil system or the actual cylinders.
You'll need to get the cylinder head removed and the gasket changed. You will also need to drain and flush out the oil and coolant systems to clear out the dirt in the system.

I have a 99 ktm 250 sx. Had to get cylinder replated and a new piston. I put the bike back together and oil was leaking from the front lower end of the cylinder and i wont idle. Took the bike back ap

If there is a leak in the head gasket it will never run properly. Maybe the carburetor is plugged if it has sat for a while. The gas/oil mixture can go bad over time. The leak could be from a loose gas line. Or possibly even oil dripping from the oil filter if you just cleaned and re-oiled it.

Sounds like you may have a head gasket leak. The oil journals for draining are on the far sides of the cylinders, so a leak there would cause oil to enter the cylinder. Is the engine a very high compression engine?

hi what you have just described is the head gasket leaking.you say you do not get a drip on the floor??check to see if the oil has travelled towards the rear of the head??if so how much??although this will not really affect the bike under normal riding it is recommended that you get it repaired sooner rather then later.

Oil leak from the front of the motor

Its funny you should mention this but yes, I had its bigger brother the GS 850 G , same problem, Apparently, in my situation I did the same thing and went to the shop and let those butchers make it worse !!!, the way i found my leak was by washing the motor with a grease and oil cleaner , strayed the whole motor and wash it all off totally, then I turn her on and let her get to operating temp went for a few mile and came back and checked it, for me it was the head gasket   the guys put on and i forced them to do it again,  I found out later that it was common with the suzi's of that model and ended up doing it myself, I used the original gasket and used a compound called gasket goo and it never leaked through out the 8 years i had it . But before you do anything , surly they gave you warrant y on the work so take it back and demand they do it properly.
Cheers and ride safe

Oil leak

With a ten year old 250 cc engine that has been ridden a lot you should be prepared to rebuild the motor. If you have to have someone else do it the bike is probably not worth the cost. If you can do it yourself the parts can be bought for less than $400 and installed in a day.
