I have a 98 zx9r and wanted to kno if I 2000 zx9r fairings will fit???????

i looked up one of the fairings on the parts fiche and it it shows that 98-01 are the same except for the color. i just looked up one long skinny piece. everywhere that sells them says 1998-1999 are the same and 2000-2001 are the same. not sure what the difference is but you could probably make it work...

I have a TL 1000S 1997 and want to put a full fairing on it, the only one's I can find are for 1998 models, do they fit, or can you make them fit, or are there other available Thanks Dave

My workshop manual covers the one model from 1997 - 2001 with only slight engine differences. The fairing has no part number change, so I would say it should fit.
Hope that helps.

How do i get to the spark plugs on a 1998 zx9r?

Remove gastank, remove airbox by loosening bolts outside, open airbox, remove bolts inside and take it off, then you see the plugs! Be carefull not to damage any connectors or the coil, use a 16 mm socket, 5/8", and more extensions! It could help if some of the fairing was removed too!

1998 ZX9R C1: Fairing damage. What do I fix it with?

ello mate,, well theres some basturds about ay,, this happened to me once,, any way,, to bond a crack or build up a hole, turn the fairing round so u r lookin at the back of it, rough the crack or hole up with some sand paper,, then get your self some fibre glass matting wad,,and some resin, and hardener, using scissors cut the matting out to shape mix up some resin and apply to the back of the fairing,, this is messy stuff ,,but will bond it well,,then turn it over ,,if u still have a visible crack and want to repair that,, then run a grinder down the crack ,,so it widens the crack just a bit ,,and fill it with isopon filler,, just the normal kind of filler, for dents etc,,
