Where is the starter on a 2000 pontiac bonnville

The starter is located where the engine and transmission bolt together. it would be near the drivers side of the engine in front near radiator, not the fire wall, bottom of engine. you have to replace it from under the car. make sure you disconnect the battery first. 2 bolts mount the starter to the engine. the bolts go straight up through the starter housing into the engine block. wires from the battery and start signal wire are mounted on the starter solenoid. they must go back on the proper connection on the new starter. Some new starters come with 3 terminals for wire connections. make sure if your old starter has only 2 connections and the new starter has 3 you connect the small wire to the small terminal marked by an S on the solonoid.

Where is the turn signal flasher

Your '06 model bike is does not have the old style turn signal flasher unit in it. It has what is known as a turn signal canceling unit. It's a "black box" located somewhere on the bike. I'm not sure of the location on the Super Glide, maybe under the seat or the panel on the left side of the bike. It's a black box about a half inch thick, and inch wide, and about a 3 inches long with a plug on one end with a mounting screw in the middle. This controls the turn signals. If you have the wrong bulbs in the turn signal units, they won't blink or a bulb out on one side that side won't blink. If none blink. I'd trace the ground of the canceling unit to make sure it's got a good ground.

Good Luck

2001 Toyota Tocama 1) Right turn signal comes on when I brake, it does not flash it just comes on. 2) If I have it turned on, it will not flash whilel the brake pedal is pressed. 3) When I turn on left...

If you have an aftermarket trailer towing plug, that's the first place to look. There is probably a short in the wires, and when you push the brake, the signal light comes on. If not, then it will be a bare wire somewhere, probably at the back where gravel stones can hit them.

Need to change left front turn single whole ***. come out?

  1. Go to the front of the car and open the hood. Locate the two screws that mount the headlight assembly to the front of the vehicle. The screws are on top of the assembly at both ends. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws. Pull the headlight assembly straight off of the Intrepid.
  2. Locate the turn signal electrical connector at the outer side of the headlight assembly. There is a thick wire coming out of it. Turn the electrical bulb socket counterclockwise to take it out of the headlight assembly.
  3. Pull the turn signal bulb straight out of the electrical socket.
  4. Push in a new turn signal bulb. Reinstall the electrical socket with the new bulb in it to the headlight assembly. Turn the socket clockwise until it is tight. Push the headlight assembly back in place on the car and use and screwdriver to put the mounting screws back in.

Central air conditioner doesn't turn on... Any suggestions?

If the compressor turns off and won?t come back on during a very hot day, the unit may have built up a high "head" pressure and the high-pressure limit switch may have tripped. This is usually located right inside the access panel on the compressor unit. Simply push the button to return it to operation. If your central air conditioner doesn't go on automatically: 1) Be sure the thermostat is set to "cool" and set below room temperature. 2) A central air conditioner should be on a dedicated 240-volt circuit; check the main electrical panel and any secondary circuit panels for a tripped breaker or blown fuse. If you find the problem here, reset the breaker or replace the fuse. 3) Make sure the furnace power switch is turned on and that the outdoor condenser's power switch, mounted on the outdoor unit, hasn't been shut off. Also be sure the 240-volt disconnect next to the compressor (in a metal box, usually mounted on the house wall) hasn't been shut off. 4) Turn off the power to the air conditioner and check the thermostat. 5) Remove the thermostat's cover and unscrew the wire from the Y terminal. 6) Turn the power back on. 7) Holding the wire by its insulation, touch the bare end to the R terminal and hold it there for about 2 minutes. If the compressor kicks on, the thermostat is faulty; replace it or call an air conditioning technician. If the compressor doesn't go on when you hold the two wires together, turn the power back off and call a service technician.
