I had the same problem, factory setting for the rear shock is at it's softest. I stiffened the shock on mine and it improved the handeling 200% though it made the bike feel higher but it reduced the "side stand drag" significantly. you can adjust the shock by removing the right hand panel and tool tray, lifting the rear wheel off the ground using a jack then "knocking" the shock adjuster ring round with an old large screwdriver 'coz you cant get an adjusting spanner in there. (took me 20 mins total with a friend to steady the bike while on the jack)

Why is my rear end kicking up when I put it in reverse only on my 90 dodge 2wd

Hi Shawn:
It is because of the torque being transferred from the wheels through to the frame.
When you put it in forward ans stand on the gas, the front end comes up. Look at a drag racer's wheel stand.
Put it in reverse, and the opposite happens. The back wants to come up.
HINT!!!!
If the rear shock absorbers are worn out, the kick up will be way more noticeable.
Cheers, and Happy Drag Racing!

Rear left wheel lockt up

You can adjust the handbrake from inside the car at the rear of the handbrake. All cars are a little different so you have to look around the area. Usually you have to remove a panel there.

Jack up the back left wheel and rotate it by hand. if it makes a scraping sound, adjust the handbrake by turning the left side adjusting nuts.

This may not work if the problem is the brake caliper or something inside the wheel.
hope this helps.

Only thought Is the Kick stand switch
Is a kickstand on or was there one ever on this bike? If the switch thinks the kickstand is down it will stall out as soon as you kick it into gear.

Try having the cables tightened before you go to the expense of replacing anything.

Kick stand safety shut down, once bike warms up it shuts off if kick stand is down

The bike is supposed to shut down if the kick stand is down. It is a safety feature designed to prevent starting out with the stand down, which can be very inconvenient on your first left turn. If you are saying the bike runs with the stand down when cold, then the switch must be in need of adjustment. Please rate my answer.
