Unfortunately apart from removing the lights you wont turn it into a MX bike, new expantion chamber, porting and suspension mods are all quite expensive, just try and learn as much as you can as it is(minus lights)

IF IT HOLDS GAS AND YOU CAN SAFELY SECURE IT TO YOUR BIKE..WHOSE TO SAY YOU CANT..JUST MAKE SURE THE INSIDE OF THE TANK DOESN'T HAVE ANY RUST INSIDE...KEEP THE THROTTLE WIDE OPEN AND THE RUBBER SIDE DOWN..PEACE

Make your HOnda Wave/C70/C90/C100 Faster!!

A great and simple way to improve the performance it to super size the barrel and get a big piston.

These bikes will take a bore that can accomodate the Wave 125, CBR 150, Kawasaki 150 pistons. For a 110 wave you can simply over bore the barrel at a machine shop if you give them the piston and they can measure it.

This is a cheap and effective mod. I suggest you also upgrade to a Honda Dash Carb. its better suited to the new swept volume. Removing baffels from the Exhaust will help too.

These are the simplest mods for more power!

Hi. My KDX 125 started cutting out like it was starving of fuel every 2mins or so*. i Took the carb' off, cleaned it, put it back on and now its not starting at all! not even any sign of ignition. The...

It may need rebuilt maby it does not have enough compression to turn over i would suggest getting a compression test done at a local bike shop. If thats the case it most likely needs rebuilt.

Kawasaki kdx 125 plugs oil up and bike stalls

I think you have worn internal engine parts. To much oil is getting past the piston rings. Try installing new piston rings and honing the cylinder walls.

MY BIKE CHOKE NEEDS TO BE KEPT ON WHILST RIDING IT WHAT COULD THAT BE?MY BIKE IS A KAWASAKI KDX 125

Air filter needs to be installed and clean. Check the seal at the carb, for tears or loose clamps. Also make sure fuel filter is cleaned out or replaced(dirt trash or water will stop fuel flow). If fuel pump is electric fuses may need replacement. If you still dont get better results you may need carbs cleaned. Not just add cleaner to gas,but removed and debris removed from jets float valve seat or filters inside.

Kdx 200 clutch not engaging properly

The clutch in your bike is a wet clutch. There is a lot of hyrdostatic friction even when the clutch is released completely. I think a large factor is the type, age and condition of oil. Perhaps something as simple as an oil change would help.

Kick starting and petrol leak

Yup, needle valve. Even a spec of sand can cause this. Take it apart and clean or replace it. Get a new overflow hose on it as well (helps keep dirt out of the carb and directs excess fuel away from the hot engine).

Removal of front wheel

Simply undo the axle nut and slide out the axle bolt. You might need to take out the split pin if your bike has one.
