I have a 1987 kawasaki jetski 550 and i just rebuilt the motor in it ( top and bottom end) now that it is all back together i cant get it to start. the engine will fire when the starter is turnig it over but it will not run on its own. and i am stumped on what it could be. i have messed around with the timing but it doesnt seem to make a difference. any ideas????
Off hand I would suggest, check your fuel system delivery first, then your electrical system. Nothing doing with your timing if you have set it correctly in the first place.
