Roadstars have a seat lock operated via ignition switch.
Insert the key into the ignition switch. Turn the key in the counter-clockwise direction as far as you can (don't push down on the key...just turn). You'll hear a click release sound from the front end of the seat. The seat front should now lift for you.
Sometimes the lock can stick so you may need to push down on the seat front while turning the key to get the latch released.
roadstar seats remove from the key switch, turn left "without" pushing down on the lock cylinder, and you will hear the seat release from the front of the drivers pad.
