1978 Yamaha TX 750 cam timing

1978 yamaha 750 special need to get timing in spec pictures and advice would help It's my first bike and I'm kind of straped for cash to buy the manual thanks

This bike uses unleaded gasoline. At only 6.7 to 1 compression you can use the lowest octane fuel you can find. 87 in the US is what that would be around here, but across the pond the octane numbers are different. But don't forget the two stroke oil. That may be more expensive than your fuel cost.

If i were you i would not do this mod. You are going to end up with a ugly top triple tree. Rather find a lower set of bars off another bike. They are all the same diameter tubing.

Just go dow to a bike shop and get any 4 stroke motor oil. BUT NOT SYNTHETIC!!! your clutch plates will not like it. good luck

not thati am aware of,the drive sprocket bolts straight ont the rear wheel,thats were you get the hand numbing tingles that these bikes were famous for..hope this helps
