2006 Suzuki SV 650 will not turn over

Bike's headlight and HUD light up but when I press the ignition button nothing happens.Already checked the fuses and they are fine. HUD has an indicator that comes up when I press the starter that says "CHEC". Can't hear the normal warming up sounds of the fuel injectors or whatever.

Make sure your clutch lever, neutral position, kickstand and kill switches are all working.
You could also try removing the negative lead for the battery for about 1 minute and reattaching, and trying again to see if that clears it.

SOURCE: is there a reset switch on 2007 gsxr 750. wont start

You have some crushed wiring along the frame. Check the wiring from the switch along the frame under the seat for a rub or a pinch in the insulation. It has a short causing the lights to flash.

SOURCE: why does my bike start on warm days but not on

are you running 20w50 oil? if yes, probably full synthetic. try running a standard 10w40 oil or something not as heavy as what your using. heavy oil in combination with cooler weather makes for heavier oil, harder for your starter to turn the gears through it. warmer days, gears move easier.

Bike shuts off while riding

I would suggest the ignition switch is defective, examine the connecter to the switch for signs of overheating of the plastic connector shell and wire connectors inside the shell, if it shiows signs of heat then replace the connector and the switch. If the connector is ok then replace the switch itself. You may need to find the connector in a salavage yard or check with the delaer.

When i try to start it, it wont turn over. however it dims the headlights when i hit the start button.

It sounds like you have a flat battery. It would be a good idea to test the charging system once you have the bike running.

Electric start not working

The starter relay may have a loose wire or aone of the battery cables is poorly connected. To find the relay, follow the positive battery cable. Ck the negative cable connection on the frame. The small wire on the r4elay is the wire coming from the start button. There must be current there when you press the button. Good Luck, Ned

Turn on ignition on my sv650s and nothing, wait 20 seconds and then it starts. The bike starter motor does not activate for the first 20 seconds and then it seems okay. This is happening on all occasions.

This sounds as if it is suppose to happen, a safety device of some sort. The closest freebie manual that I can source is a 2003 one, but it may have the info you need, else contact your local Suzuki outlet, they will know:
