Crank mark is located on the flywheel. you can see it through the small plug on the left side casing. cam marks, exhaust mark is on the left side of cam sprocket,lobe facing forward. inlet mark on the right side of cam sprocket,lobe facing rear. exhaust has a line and inlet has a dot. cam marks need to be lined up with the top of the head . exhaust valve clearance is 8thou inlet is 5thou. hope this helps.

2007 KXF 250 electrical problem

when the ignition parts like the coil and the transistors in the cdi unit gets warmed up they dont work as well as when there cool,,,so a problem thats not there when cold will be there when its hot,,,,if the stator has a small fault in it when cold when it gets hot it turns into a big fault! the best way to find this fault is by swoping one part at a time till you fine the faulty part,,,or put it into the bike shop and pay through the knows for the fix? have you a friend with the same type of bike you could swop the parts with??? it a big big help if you have! i would start with the coil then the cdi unit,,,there the most likley parts to play up when they get to hot they go faulty!

What is the proper valve setting on a 2006 kxf250

From an 05 kxf, intakes are +/- .005 and exhaust is +/- .008..... They should be the same with 06 to 09.

Kawasaki kxf 250 is leaking oil from the back of the front sprocket how hard is it to fix problem

you're problemme is the counter shaft seal is leaking....this is the seal right behind the front sprocket....i tough there is also a inner o-ring on that model that you shall have to change...thank you for leaving good feedback.
