Plugs-keep-fouling-tried-3-different-plugs-what-can-i-do-to-solve-this-problem

What is causing the fouling? Engine oil? On a two cycle dirt bike, the fouling can be caused by excessive oil in fuel mix. I believe 50 to 1 is the correct ratio yet you may want to cut back, a little at a time, on the oil or run hotter fuel. The exhaust system will also accumulate enough oil sludge to impede the exhaust flow causing poor performance and plug fouling. A two cycle must breath freely to keep itself internally clean. Air cleaner to exhaust. Proper fuel mix should have little , very little. Good Luckand hopefully this helps you.

New plug after warm up and engine running on load for approx an hour engine cuts out and when trying to start again will not start and backfires on kickover. to get started again have to replace with...

Sounds like you are fouling your plug. Some possible causes make sure you air filter is clean. Correct gas oil mixture. How the bike is being use Trail riding/freestyle.This bike in stock form will foul plugs if it is being used as a trail bike.If everything is good air filter/gas-oil. Then you need to do a spark plug reading. This will determine if you need to rejet the carb. Hope this helps

Spark plug keeps oil fouling. What band of oil shoul use? Is 40:1 gas mix good? also wat spark plug? BR9ES, BR8EG, or R7376-9?

32 to 1 is the standard mix. That is 4 ounces two stroke ENGINE oil per gallon. The brand doesn't really matter. Don't use MOTOR oil in the gas. The stock plug is NGK brand, R6918B-9. I would suggest a hotter plug, R7376-8. The last digit is the heat range. The lower the number, the hotter the plug.

My yamaha yz 125 is dumping to much fuel and fouling out the plugs but i need to knoew how to adjust my carb its a 1997

There are only two adjustments to make on your carburetor; the idle speed, and the idle mixture adjustment. If the spark plug fouls frequently, first make sure you are using the correct spark plug. Your 1997 YZ125 uses an NGKB9EGV. Then be sure you are using the recommended two stroke oil, mixed to the proper ratio, in the fuel. Also make sure the air filter is not excessively soiled.
With all of the above confirmed and corrected, start the bike and run until the engine is up to normal temperature. Adjust the idle mixture screw to attain the fastest idle and best throttle response. Then adjust the idle speed.
If you are still fouling the spark plug, verify that the carburetor has the correct size jets by consulting your owner's manual. Keep in mind that if you are operating your bike at an altitude higher than about 6,000 feet above sea level, the stock jetting may be too rich. Down-size the main jet in small increments until satisfactory operation and the correct spark plug color is obtained.

I have a 2005 kx 250 2 stroke and it keeps eating plugs

NGK brand spark plug BR8ECMVX is the stock plug for the bike. The proper gas / oil mix is 32 to 1. That means 4 ounces of 2 stroke oil per gallon of gas. The posting was not clear as to just what the problem is. If you are burning up plugs there may be a air leak in the intake system making the bike run lean. A lean fuel mix runs hot.
