1975 honda cb360t i put new sparkplug in and new points and condencer and stared the engine it runs both set of points are fiering and both spark pluges are fiering but as it woms up the left exsost pip gets hot and the right exhaust pip does not.
It appears one carb is running richer than the other, the rich side being the cool side, take off gas tank, on lean carb, unscrew top of carb where cable goes in,lift it out,the slide will have brass tapered on bottom, ther should be a c-clip holding the pin in the slide, ther is notches in the brass pin to adjust it up/dn in the slide, it needs to go up one notch in the slide, try that and adjust as nessary, luck
Can you feel exhaust coming out both pipes? blockage, or valves. Once, I used a piece of gasket material to make a gasket, just cut out the shape and put the holes in it for the bolts, assembled, the exhaust didn't sound right, realized I forgot to cut the big hole in the middle. stupid. Valves would indicate because you probably wouldn't have a nice running engine.
is one louder than the other? you might have a leak at the head so you aren't gettin the same heat transfer.
