My BMW R1100 RT motorbike spluttered a bit then stopped and all electric power was lost. Freshly serviced with new battery and alternator belt, fuses look ok. Any ideas?

Mark,

Electrical problems are hard to diagnose at the bike and much harder to do remotely....Here is a link to the BMW motorcycle owners discussion board, you may find some answers there...Good luck.... I miss my RT !

Adjust the clucth of R1150RT

You cannot adjust the clutch as it is hydraulic. You can only adjust the lever span.
Check the colour of your clutch fluid. It should be golden yellow. If it is dark coloured, change it. If it turns dark again you may have a problem with the slave cylinder on the back of the gearbox. Why are you asking how to adjust the clutch, is it slipping?

What is the best recommended battery charger for BMW R1150RT motorbike?

Any 12V trickle charger should do it

http://www.autozone.com/test-scan-and-specialty-tools/battery-charger

If the battery does not hold a charge, and the bike's own charger is OK, you need a new battery.
