I got 1984 yamaha enticer340 got spark both cylenders its single carb and coil when yopu put plugs in machine it only seems to run off one cylender when i tolk them out one still looks new swicth plugs and still the same can a single coil loose fire on one side?

It can if it is a twin coil built into one unit, you may just have a bad plug lead or cap or it could be a faulty engine is it all ways the same cylinder thats fireing?

Have you checked your fuel filter? Have you checked to see if fuel is getting into the carbs?
Also is your machine parked outside and is it below freezing? It happens to me often when my machine sits for a while. Water in the fuel freezes at the carbs or in the filter and won't allow fuel to get through. I put a little ceramic heater under the cowling and cover it with a couple old blankets. It usually does the trick in a couple hours. Then I run some fuel cleaner though it. g'luck
Some Ford engines are not equipped with knock sensors. Yours may be one of them. Located in the wiring loom, close to the ECM, is a "jumper" that when removed retards the timing 4 degrees. This should correct your pinging problem. as for the missfire try changing the plugs and wires .also check the egr valve. thanks
Your 306 code means you have a misfire on cylender 6. That may be the cause of the po 125. Inspecdt the coil, spark plug wire, and spark plug on cylender 6. With the age of the car I would replace all 3 items. If you want know how to test all 3 I can tell you process of elimination is the way to do it. Do you know how to find cylender 6
That is carb problems! You need to remove them and disaseble them and clean all ports and jets. I would also do a resynce of the carbs after cleaning them.
change the control modul. that control voltage to the coils. it sound like it not bleeding off fast enough the control modul is under the coils. befoe changing any part remove ground off battery. befor change any coils u could of swop to see if this is still not firing
You may consider tracing back from coil back to the main plug and checking wires going into and coming out of the plug for any broke wires make sure to look for collapsed casings sometimes the wires will break internally
