My 2004 Suzuki Gsxr-750 Frpnt Brakes dont work. I went to move my bike one Morning and the Front brake just refuses to Engage. Any help will be obliged.
Did you start to drive away? Then stopped abruptly only to find your disk lock still on? From personal exp some time back I have done this. It will and has surely bent that one disk. The disk will wobble left to right forcing the brake fluid out and the pistons all the way into the caliper. If this is so....I bent mine back....Not the best thing to do, but it can get you home....Replace right disk.
I believe its the disc brake.check for any leakages in the hose connecting the brake pads as well as the oil levels.if its low than the threshold level please fill it up with the recommended brake oil for bike.(usually dot3 or dot4 for disc brakes)
also ensure the brake pads have grooves over it and they are in proper condition.if they are worn out then the disc would be filled with black oily substance.if yes for the previous conditions change the brake pads too.
thanks for contacting fix-ya
