Check youtube on the subject of syncro gears. They have a small reverse bevel on them so that when they sync up, they won't pop
back out. If they get worn flat they won't hold in under heavy load like climbing a hill. There are a couple of good Youtube videos showing this part of your transmission.
You need to check the cold choke set up, which may be called a IAC Idle Automatic Control this is sensor works the am starts for cold or hot idles... Do you have a light on??
the easy way to find out if the cluch is slipping is to ride the bike in top gear pull in the cluch rev the bike up to high revs and drop the cluch if the engine dont drop in revs very fast and the revs only drop slowly its slipping if this happens check that you have a small amount of slack in the cluck cabel ie: 1/4 of an inch is ok if its to tight it will cause the cluch to slip as the engine warms up
no, its not the transmisshion,,,, its the cluch release bearing worn out,
every time you press on the cluch it screems or chaters, yes?
you just need to fit a new cluch, as its realy not worth the effort in just replacing the bearing only to have the rest of the cluch go in 6 months
that would be mad ness and pricy
while in say 3rd or 4th and your foot off of the clutch apply the gas and break at same time, you should be able to lug the car to a stall with out the engine reving. but if the clutch breaks free and the engine revs then you prob have no cluch left or you have a pressure plate problem. doesnt matter because you will replace both nomatter which is bad. If you are getting a clutch that releases way at the top or slip while being reliesed you may just have an adjustment issue. [email protected]
