Sounds like you may have a bad fuse.. check under the hood and under the dash somewhere for the fuse box. look in your owners manual for the fuse location or just call the dealership
You can purchase a Haynes manual (#0249) for the airhead twins for a little less than $50. Most bookshops and motorcycle dealerships sell or can get these manuals. Check online too, maybe some used manuals out there.
Other alternative is the OEM BMW factory service manual.... it is a bit more technical and assumes that you know most of the basic BMW stuff. Order from a BMW dealer.
If all windows stopped workin at once it's a relay ... You can usually find them under your steering wheel ... You more than likely have to remove the panel under the steering wheel and you'll see them... I forgot which one it was but call a BMW dealership ... And let them know what relay you need...
