Hi and welcome to FixYa,

In Asian versions, that would be underneath the carb, in-front of the float bowl hidden under a metal plug that must be drilled out. Reference below diagram. The pilot (air idle mix) screw is 16014 while the plug is 92066.

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.

I have a Honda cl 175 from 1976 what are the carb settings ?

Hi there. The ''default'' settings are :
step #1 turn the mixture and idle screw all the way in clockwise
step #2 you turn counter clockwise the mixture screw for 1,5 rounds, and the idle screw when the motor can run freely without going off.
#3 Then you adjust the mixture screw if you do not like the outcome by micro movements clockwise. Hope i helped.

How do i adjust my holley carb on my f350 460 it has no pulling power after 55 mph and it wasnt pulling that heavy of a load when it started to drag

The screws are to adjust the idle mixture and speed. They have no effect on the motor at 55 MPH. To adjust the idle mixture
lower the idle speed to the lowest speed and slowly turn one screw in and out until you reach maximum rpm and then move on the another.

How do i set up the carburetor on a sthil ts400

The ts400 has 2 adjustment screws. First pop out the rubber gromet to see the screws. The one on the left is the mixture, the one on right is the idle Turn the idle screw in a coup[le turns, this will help the saw run a little fast Now screw the mixture screw in till it bottoms .now back it out 1 and a half turn. Press the decom and pull it thru with the , the choke on a couple times, now pull up onthe decom. Try to start it. when it starts, let it runat a fast speed moving the choke off a click or two when the motor warms up, idle the engine as muchas possible, then adjust the mixture screw in or out torun the best. Squeeze the trigger if engine faulters, it's to lean, back mixture screw out slowly, till it suits you. Reinsert the gromet.

Adjust carburator on homlite chain saw

Hi

If its an old Homelite you should have 3 screw on the carburator.
First bigger screw for adjust idle on the butterfly.
The 2 other for the mixture. One screw is ''L'' for low rpm mixture an other screw is ''H'' for high rpm mixture.

First the idle screw. It should just open a little bit the carburator butterfly.
Second full close both ''L'' and ''H'' screws (turn clockwise).
After open both ''L'' and ''H'' screws 1/2 to 3/4 turn (conterclockwise)

Normally the saw should start. Tune the ''L'' screw to have the motor running at idle if idle is to fast at this point is not important. After motor is running by itself at idle tune the ''H'' screw.
Full throttle tune the ''H'' screw to be able to pass from low rpm to high rpm with no lag.
Than at full throttle open again a little bit the ''H'' screw to make the high rmp mixture more rich.
Becarful if ''H'' screw is not adjust correctly the mixture will be to poor and motor damage can occur.

It may be necessary to re-tune a very little bit the ''L'' screw and idle screw after the correct setting of the ''H'' screw.

If it still not working carburator kit may be needed,

On some newer model there is no adjusting screws in this case see if a carburator kit is available for your model.

Need to know how to set mixtures on small kazuma quad elec start 3spd

The best way is to twist the high speed screw in all the way (do NOT jamb it in - gently screw until it wants to stop), then back it out 1.75 revolutions. Start the motor, and run it under load. Stop, lean it out some by screwing in the mixture screw in 1/4 turn. Try it. If it gets better, repeat until it gets worse and then go back one step. That should be the setting. The same if you chose to richen the mixture by turning the mixture screw OUT 1/4 turn. Repeat and follow the above directions. Going one way or the other is a guess at first, and you hone in for the best performance. For the idle screw, just piddle with it until it sounds good at idle. You should start out at 1.5 turns from closed.

Tune a ryobi two stroke motor

Turn Both Air Mixture Screws In Until Seated. **DO NOT JAM SNUG ONLY** Turn Both Screws Out 1 1/2 Turns. Set the Throttle to Full Open and Start the Engine. Override the Throttle by Pushing the Governor Arm by Hand and Turn the High Air Mixture Screw(bottom of the bowl) In Until the Engine is Revving Properly. Now Slow Engine to Idle. Set the Low Air Mixture Screw so there is No Hesitation when Throttling from Idle to Full Throttle. Now Set the Idle if Required.

Adjust the motor idle on a 1974 evinrude 50

Seat the idle mixture screw. Turn counter clockwise 1 1/2 turns. With engine running in gear under a load at idle slowly turn the screw clockwise until the engine bogs down and then turn back out 1/2 a turn. That is your correct mixture.
