My bandit has the same problem, apparently it's a bent shift fork. You'll have to change the fork and the gear. May even have to change the corresponding gears... I haven't had time to take a look at mine yet but this is what I've found so far.

What is causing a couple of second judder when accelerating away after changing from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th gear ?

it may be from failing engine mounts allowing the engine to misalign the drive shaft under acceleration and allowing problems in the cv joints or "U" joint

I have a 2011 meriva 1.7 cdti automatic, but when I go up hill it starts to judder,if I ease on the gas it is ok,there are no warning lights on, it's only just started doing it

It's a gearing issue. Throw it into a lower gear and take your time going up the hill. On my 1999 Prizm I use second gear for any hill. It just can not handle the load in a higher gear.

When i stick my bike into forst gear, the clutch judders and vibrates like the gears are grinding together, ive taken the clutch off, replaced tge clutch and all it does is make loads of noise and no drive...

Gavin, several possibilities exist. Reply back with an answer; Is the juddering only in first gear? Does the bike shift easily going through all the gears? If the judder is only in first gear, the problem is either broken gear dogs on a slider gear or broken teeth on first gear. A bent shift fork is a possibility but if it shifts in and out of gears easily then that pretty much rules out a bent fork. If broken teeth are found to be the problem, replace both the broken gear AND any gear the broken gear engages with, even if the gear looks okay. If you don't replace the set, you get to re-do the repair when the mating gear drops some teeth, ( which will probably be right away ). If the judder is in all gears then the clutch plates could be hanging up on either the inner or outer hub or both. I have added a generic diagram to give you a visual of how the shifting works. Please rate my answer. Thanks!

Picture judder on Pioneer plasma TV

i wouldn't be worry if:
If the tv just does this phenomena for some seconds specially when there is a change from video analog to digital.
if the tv does the issue only for some seconds and then gets back to normal and stays there for the rest of the day.

Forward Shreading judders

If you shredder is like our Ativa DX200D I have a pretty good idea what the problem is. Our shredder had the same identical issue, it was out of warranty so opened it up to see if there was debris in the teeth that could not been seen from the outside. To my surprise one of the steel gears (a 3" diameter one, very heavy too), had 5 teeth worn down, and after testing I determined that the judder happened when the shredder ran with any kind of a load and the gear came around to the side with the worn teeth.

You may need to find a replacement gear, or just buy a new shredder.

Good luck!
