First, check your fuses and see if one is burned out.

If fuses are good, it is very likely it's the brake light switch that has failed. It is mounted under the dash just above the brake pedal.

It will look like this...

Hi,

First thing is to check your Brake light fuse & relays.

If fuse is ok, then suspect that you brake pedal "switch" (mounted up behind the brake pedal) is not making contact when you depress the pedal.

Need help replacing brake light switch 2006 dodge stratus

Brake light switch usually pushes into bracket until the switch plunger hits the back of the brake pedal and is fully depressed, then turn the switch to lock it in place. Next, connect the wiring plug. The point is, it must be depressed when the brake pedal is up, as it turns on the lights as you push the pedal down and its plunger is released.

Blinkers dont work and da brake light when u push on the brakes the light dont go on

Remove the steering wheel and replace the multi function switch located behind it. This is responsible for cancelling the brake light on one side when you turn that blinker on. If nothing is working, it is likely that the switch has had a problem for a while. Replace it and be done. If you need anything else, please let me know.

Brake lights

No it is not controlled by the BCM the issue is most likely caused by the turn signal switch itself, a bad internal connection, very common on GM cars and trucks.
