I have a Sym Jet 50 on X Reg its been stood for a year and a 1/2 and it wont start at all, the electric start doesn't work but the horn and left indicators work thats it. What should i do?
Change the battery. It takes alot more power to turn an engine over than to hond a horn. Your carburetor and gas tank likely need to be cleaned out also if they were not drained before storage

Assuming you have done a full and proper carby service the only thing left is the fuel outlet from the fuel tank, it may have gotten clogged up in the 1 year that it stood idle. Always start at the source of the supply whether it's electrical or fuel. Work you way through each phase of transition of the supply till you find your fault.
hi i got a sym jet euro x 50 there is no electrics working at all u can ride bike but u have to kick start it but no brake lights or horn indicators nothing whats best way to go about it
with bairly any power it might just be you air and petrol mixture or to much two stroke if it is a 2 stroke either that or whiring problems it is common with sym mine has problems with wiring too !!! :)
Is there a spark at the plug? if so its likely to be fuel related... is the plug getting wet? if so its likely to be air (or spark) related
