Sitting on the bike from left to right the cylinders are numbered 1,2,3,4.
The ignition fires 1,2,4,3.
The left coil operates 1,4 the right coil...3,2 in that order.

Hi Again Les, This was a much better question. On that Kawasaki, there is a sender under the tank, and a cover over the sender with an overflow hose. The hose should be routed down to the bottom of the bike with all the other hoses and just dangle free. most bikes fire in the order of 1,3,4,2 so with 1 coil it should split to 2 plugs. check the lead length to which plug it should go to ie 1-3 & 2-4. hope this helps
