if your saying it overheats is compression entering the water jacket listen at radiator cap or bubbles in overflow jug (Head gasket leaking ) if you are saying it misses check the spark plugs is pull wire to plugs one at a time when you get to the one missing it will make no change in vibration(miss) the one working will miss more when removed and running first loosen the wires so you can take them off with a wood cloths pin so you dont get shocked when you determine the missing one replace with good plug like auto lite (cheap) try see if miss gone if not plug could be plug wire stop beating your motor
This is common on Hondas. If you want the vibration to go away you can adjust the idle to be higher. That's a fairly common fix. There's not really anything wrong though as long as it's not missing. Every engine has a speed it likes to vibrate at depending on how it was designed/built.
Is it the dash vibrating or is because of wheel vibration? Generally the dash is pretty sturdy and unless its been in a major prang and the panel beaters have missed putting some of the screws back, it shouldn't vibrate. If the vibration starts at a certain speed and the steering wheel vibrates too, I would say its a wheel balance problem. Any Tyre place should be able to rebalance the wheels and sort this out for you. There is a possibility of a drive shaft vibration but im not sure how you check that out. If it is the dash, then good luck... There are many screws, bolts etc that hold the dash together, You will have to by trial and error , see which one is loose or missing. Before you do anything though, check that nothing is loose and rattling or vibrating in your glove box, ashtray or tissue holder. . There used to be this ad on TV showing a Guy who stripped his entire dashboard down to fix an annoying rattle. When he was looking at the hundred parts or so lying on the driveway, he found a couple of spare coins nuts and bolts rattling around in the ashtray which was the cause of the rattle!
Sounds like a driveline/driveshaft issue. Either loose bolts or a bent shaft. Nut & bolt the shaft. If it continues after that, you may have a bent shaft.
I am afraid not. The water from the radiator never goes into the engine. Radiator is just there to keep the engine temperature Normal. That is to say that it keeps in cool because engines get very hot while driving the car. If you take out the water, it would overhead quickly and would eventually halt the engine.
As for the vibration from engine, it because the supports of the engine aren't bolted together snuggly. So when you accelerate, the engine vibrates hard and then also shake up the supports and cause noise.
"Armstrong" torque, you'll probably be the one working on it the next time and you'll want to be able to get it back off..look i race motorcycles and how i solve my torque problems is that in order to race in competition all brake, axle pinch bolts, and radiator caps, oil fill caps, drain plugs, and all hose clamps, must be lockwired ..so it took me about three days and a lot of little .032 drill bits to drill holes in all my bolts, yes even the little main axle tensioner nuts, believe me they vibrate off...i lost two already and i lost a couple of seat hold down bolts, so when i race i lockwire those down also...but the good part about this is that i dont need to torgue them down, i tightenen them up as tight as i prefer using common sence very tight on main axle bolts and fairly tight on everything else and then whenever i ride my bike, i never have to worry if my bolts are loose..just one look at my lockwire being present garunties that they're tight!
its fairly simple. First open pet **** valve on bottom of radiator (if applicable) to drain fluid then remove upper and lower hoses and disconnect and unbolt electric fans, then disconnect water temperature sensor (if applicable) and automatic transmission lines (if applicable) and remove fans with 10 mm socket, then unbolt top radiator bolts with 10 mm socket, simply pull up radiator carefully, you may have to remove part of you air intake system if above radiator if so remove clamp and 10 mm bolts holding it and pull up and away from air intake box after that it should be fairly easy to pull also always check your radiator cap for wear and replace it that may save you alot of money.
Hiya .. the transit bolts are located under the lid at either side ..or at the rear... they are fairly long bolts which hold the drum and balance in place.. until installation. they will be sheathed in fairly hefty rubber grommets.
Screws for removal of lid located at the rear..2- or 4.. remove these slide lid front to back.. remove bolts if they are they are present... refit lid... note uneven siting of an appliance can cause excessive vibration as well!
