If you have automatic pulldown watch your fingers. If you hear the pulldown working the motor is good. If not the striker needs adjusting or the motor is bad.
Check the edges of your weatherstripping and if the hinges are rubbing inside the trunk.

If you have a manual setup look under the lid to see if the striker is loose and adjust. Sometimes the part in the trunk is the adjustable side.

Trunk light stays on how can I fix it. I tried closing the trunk didn't work

Could be the mercury switch is out of position. When trunk is raised, mercury flows to the end of switch an makes the circuit complete, turning the light on. When closed, mercury flows away from connection. If doesn't have a mercury switch, then must have a button staying out on the lid, or out of position that the closed trunk isn't depressing the button. This button is connected to a ground white ground wire to make a connection. Light always has power to it, but the button completes the circuit by connecting the ground when button it out with trunk open.

How can I close the trunk manually?

Sounds like the pull-down motor is not working. You may need to disconnect the latch and remove the motor or fix it to get the trunk lid completely closed.

2005 Lexus LS430 trunk lid won't close completely

The latch is most likely the issue. If the trunk is used a lot, the latch is misaligned or a foreign object obstructed the latch from closing. The latch itself could be damaged. Carefully inspect the opening of the latch and look for bent, mushroomed or damaged steel. I would have to see to know for sure, how to proceed.

Trouble with trunk lid staying closed goes down but comes back up

Please make sure your keys are not in the trunk because there is a safety mechanism that will not allow the trunk to stay closed if the keys are detected in the trunk. The other issue will be if the hold down mechanism is not pulling the trunk completely closed once the trunk engages the lock. You will then have to have it serviced to make sure the pull down motor is operating.

I pushed the trunk release button without realizing the trunk hadn't shut yet while I was closing the convertible top. Now the "closing" light is still on and the car hasn't completed...

If you can open the trunk with the key, do so. Then disconnect the battery ground cable for about 15 seconds, and reconnect it. Maybe that will clear the ECM and allow the roof to close and reset the light. Then close the trunk.
Good luck...

Trunk does not completely close

The trunk latch contains a switch which closes when the trunk lid is pushed closed by hand, then this switch sends power to the trunk lid pull down motor which then finishes closing the trunk lid. Often the switch or motor will go bad and the whole thing will stop working. It takes a little testing to figure out which part is at fault but they are usually quite easy to fix.

What is deck mean , where the milage should be?

It means your trunk lid is either not closed completely, or the sensor that indicates that the trunk is not fully closed is bad.

Try slamming your trunk and see if it goes away.
