The first and foremost task is to clean all the impurities, dirt and tree debris. You can do it with the help of wire brush. To remove the oil residue, brush it with a rag or toothbrush and degreaser.
Many people prefer citrus cleaner over oil. A citrus cleaner is a versatile cleaner that can be used for cleaning anything in your house.
If you are using any degreaser product, mix it with water in a container and put the blades into the container.
Let the blade soak into the water for few minutes, scrub it with a rag, rinse it properly and let it dry or wipe the water from the blades.
Disassembling the pole saw is required before you clean a pole saw blade and put the blades in the container. For this purpose, remove blades from the pruner. You can take expert's help for this or unscrew the blade.
Put the blade on a table where you would clean the blade and keep the edges facing up.
Take a sharpening rod and push it forward only between the two teeth. This will file away the meat and sharpen the blade. Keep doing this for few times until you see the filings being developed on the back side of the blade. Make sure to file all the teeth on the blade.
The back side of the blade should be rubbed with a file as well. It is required to remove the burrs from the blade.
After sharpening coat, the pole saw blade by spraying oil on it to prevent rust and corrosion.
Do not forget to sharpen the blades with files that fit appropriately in the teeth. Diamond and whetstone files are being widely used for filing. So, this is how you can clean a pole saw blade and maintain it also. It does not take much effort. Invest your time to avoid replacing your favorite pole saw in the future.
one of my frend girish was facing the same problem you are facing ..he replaced his bike and got a new karizma..however we both checked and troubleshooted it several times..anyways .... the best thing you can do is check your petrol tank .. that is it creating some kind of air pressure... best way is to just open your petrol tank with your keys and close it.. the problem will be solved..2nd option on further analasys is to check and replace your petrol carrying pipe.. it will cost you 10rs
This is a most unavoidable common problem in most of the Bajaj products, except the newer one's.
There are a couple of reasons for that. I too have faced the same problem, and thank God, got it solved after a long process.
Main reason would be that the rain water is going inside the petrol tank, mixing up with petrol which will cause this problem. I got my petrol tank cleaned up properly which has solved the issue to a major extent.
On 2007 Toyota Hiace the petrol fuel filter is integrated in the fuel pump assembly placed inside fuel tank. It's not possible to change the petrol fuel filter without remove the fuel pump out from the tank. The petrol fuel filter is for fuel pump life.
I had a similar problem with a 92 when I replaced the float/level sensor in the tank. Did you recently change the pump or sensor? Check the tightness of anything you may have loosened or opened. There is also a line that usually drains water from the depression in which the filler cap sits. If you have a bad cap and even a minor overflow or spill from a fill-up, gas could leak into the trunk and once absorbed into the carpeting it is very difficult to remove the smell from the matting. I power washed mine with solvents and water based detergents, three times and let them air dry each time, finally placing an odor absorbing chemical in the trunk to solve the problem. Good luck hope this helps.
Your friend is wrong. All that will do is make the engine smoke a bit until the oil is gone. Remove the tank and put a handful of large bolts and nuts in it. Add 1/4 tank of denatured alcohol then shake the tank all around for a couple of minutes. The nuts and bolts will scrape off any rust very well. Dump the alcohol and the hardware then flush out the tank.
Hi Check and clean the oil filter from oil tank.Check the worm gear wich engages with the oil piston pump(under the clutch).Near the hole where the oil comes out from oil tank there is an oil tank valve(see if it is clogged),it equalises the presure between interior and exterior of the oil tank. best reagards savumihai71
If your Rowenta DG 920 is chucking guff from the steam jets you need to flush it as per the instructions. ( ie. Flush every 10 uses ) If you haven;t done it for somewhile, you'll next need to expel the reamining guff with lots of steam. Then no more probs.
Hi, Rowenta recommends that you use clear filtered drinking or bottled water only. I believe them because the system uses brass & aluminum throughout, so salts or acids would cause corrosion. To clean the system totally, after each ironing session before I put it away, I remove the blue reservoir completely, and run the burst of steam several times until the boiler is empty, and red light indicates it is out of water. I shut the power off and unplug. Wait at least an hour or so, access the boiler tank plug on side & if it is cool to the touch, remove it using a coin (quarter), drain and flush the tank several times with the cleaning tube that came with unit or filtered/drinking bottled water several times over the kitchen sink. Finally, drain all the water completely out of the boiler (I leave the plug & cover off to making sure it is completely dry before putting everything back together, ready for the next time). After several use cycles of the above should clear out the debris. My 1st experience with a used DG980 had exactly the same problem. P.S. before ironing the first article, use several bursts of steam away from the ironing board surface to clear out any standing water that was is in the system. Hope this helps :O)
Hi, It is likely you have too much residual water in the iron or have mineral deposits from the tap water you have been using.
