I have a yamaha road star xv1600a/at motorcycle it has been setting for about 2 years. I have cleaned the tank,Carb and changed the oil. When it is running the front valves sound like the lifters aren't building up.Does it have hydraulic lifters ? or do i need to adj. the valves ?

How many mile are on the bike? There is no hydraulic lifers in your bike and if you are hearing a ticking sound then I would have to say it would need a valve ajustment.
