Go to www.precisionope.com. Put your model information It asks for under oem parts. It will give you a parts list and diagram. See if you can find the part number there for the blades. That may be more help for what you are looking for.

How do I remove and replace the blade on my Bosch7000PRO T hedge trimmer?

I have a similar hedge trimmer to this. It was given to me as it was stuck and not working well. The only way that I could take the blade out was to split the casing via the 10 or so screws. It is pretty simple to replace the blade if you have one.

However, beware, there are spacers in the rail that keep the two blades from binding, if you lose one of them, you will cause a pinch point. That is only relevant if you have a set of two blades to replace instead of the whole assembly though.

Also, as a point to note, tape the two button levers in place before you take the case apart, and mark where the rack and pinion meets, that can be fiddly to set up if you dont.

Hi. It all depends on the Lawn trimmer. What brand is it? You can go back where you purchased the Lawn trimmer and ask them for an attachment blade to use for trimming hedges (did you mean hedges as in edges?). If they have blades specifically for your trimmer then you can do best if you have it attached to the trimmer by them experts. Otherwise if you do it yourself and it's not attached to the trimmer properly, and it comes off while spinning at high speed, you'd better run for your dear life, man! Hedge blades, like the one I have on my trimmer, are subjected to strenuous work and can come lose if not attached properly. The main part is that you treat hedge blades with care when doing the changes yourself. I am not saying that the blade which is similar to a saw blade, could come lose and separate itself from the shaft and fly towards you, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Poorly attached blades do come lose and fly like a flying saucer spinning and whirling in all direction like a yo-yo. Cheers

I have Bosch hedge trimmer AH15 63-16C which has stopped cutting. It still seems to be working as it should and the cutters moving as normal but suddenly stopped cutting? Just wondering if this is fixable...

This sounds similar to a problem I have with my Bosch AHS 60 24s. The blades are moving but not independantly and therefore not in a cutting action. I took it apart and the bottom blade has slipped off the drive wheel. I put it all back as it should be but as soon as I used it again, the same thing happened. I'm not sure why this is happening, it may be that the motor end of the bottom blade has become slightly bent, so I will be trying to straighten at the weekend. The cost of replacement blades is prohibitive and time for a new hedge trimmer. Has anyone else had this problem and a different solution.

Stihl HS45 hedge trimmer runs fine, blades move well, does not appear to cut hedge - what could be the problem ?

Dull blades! Lol, or they're not meeting eachother on each reciprocating stroke so there is no shearing action, much like a pair of scissors. Check to see if the blade bolts are too loose or is the blades are warped or if the cutting edges are simply too dull

Blades dont move

If the motor is turning and the blades are not moving it is likely that you have sheared the pin on the gear.

Blade moves back and forth, but won't cut anything

Check the bolts or screws holding the blades together are tight but not so tight that they cant move.
Ensure blades are sharp.

Starts but won't speed up enough to run

If this is a 2 cycle engine the problem could be that the exhaust is clogged. Most 2 cycle engines have a spark arrestor on the muffler which clogs. could also be the exhaust port from the engine. remove the muffler and check it out.

Reassembling blades on hedge trimmer

the blades are stuck , i spray my trimmer with wd40 before every use to keep them juicy you should too. also sometimes if you hit a large stick it will put a divot in the blade cause ing it to stick. as for putting it together, find some one who can do it without directions. but when you use them next make sure you soak em good with wd40 or something if you dont i guarantee they will always stick. wd40 willl not hurt any shrubbery, as ive been doing it for years.
