They can be a pain.......the best way to do so without a vacuum bleeder is to back fill it. buy a oil ratio syringe from walmart or an auto parts store. attach a short vinyl tube to it and **** it full of fluid. now remove reservoir cap and attach syringe to the slave cylinder. open bleed bolt and back fill slowly....tighten bleeder and work clutch to check for pressure and unsure there's no air.

BE SURE TO NOTE IF IT USES DOT4 BRAKE FLUID OR MINERAL OIL
MAGURA=MINERAL OIL
BREMBO=DOT4

SOME RACERS USE JOHNSONS BABY OIL AS ITS MINERAL OIL THAT YOU CAN SMELL IF IT LEAKS

sound to me like the clutch slave cylinder. follow the pipework down from the bars to the casing. Unbolt the slave cylinder and im guessing it will be covered in break fluid. new slave cylinder is the answer hope this helps

How do you remove the spark plug cap. I have applied a little pressure but I dont want to damage anything.
IF you mean the metal barrel that threads onto the end of the plug:
Remove spark plug, hold by the hex with a wrench, and grab the barrel with a pair of pliers and unscrew.

2004 ktm 625 smc lc4 black recidues on my dadiator cap(i dont think is oil cause is not white and the water is clean.)and i just flush the radiator(how is the best way to flush my radiator??? thank a...
add 1 teaspoon of washing powder . ie, daz or persil. run the bike for about 10 mins let it cool down then flush with clean water. refill with pro cool or 50 50 mix of anti freeze and water. cheers kev.

I got a 2004 625 ktm smc lc4 is a nice bike. but
Dont stress. A LITLLE more than the level is nothing to worry about. Keep the oil level between the 2 marks when the engine is cold and you'll be fine. Best way is bottom level is for cold. Oil must be above this level when cold. Top level is for warm. Oil must be below this level when hot.

Would too much oil in case make oil leak on 2004
All engines have a oil level .if too much oil is put in an engine ,above the recomended level then pressure produced when the engine is running will force ouil into places its not meant to go .This will cause oil leaks in any number of places and could cause damage to seals or correct running of the engine .

I have a ktm 300 2008 modle i was riding it round then had no clatch do i need to bleed it?
hi mate when you pull the clutch lever in if it goes all the way in to your grip then it needs bleeding if it gets tight then you have a problem with your clutch itself also if bleed the clutch doesnt work then it could be your seals gone in the reservoir /the piston

It would seem you posted twice, pls try here, here or here. In some, the wiring diagram is part of the Service Manual. If the year is different, most harness/wiring would be relatively similar.

Clutch fluid
Use 5wt. fork oil or ATF Dextron II/III. I've use both and have the 5wt. fork oil in now. Suppose to have a lighter pull but can't really tell any difference. Use a large syringe to pump the oil in from the bleeder at the bottom up to the master cylinder.
