Power and revs

Sounds like it is running very lean. Look for a plugged filter at the tank fuel tap or maybe an 'inline' filter. Make sure the air filter and the exhaust system are not plugged. Did you tear the carburetor down and blow out all passages with compressed air when you cleaned it? Don't blow into the fuel inlet with compressed air as it will crush a metal float. (don't ask how I know this!) Hope this helps!

1988 Kmx 125`hits short flatspot /stutter at 8000 revs

You changed the back pressure in the exhaust and that is what causing your problem either put the washer back in or have the carb properly jetted

My kmx is losing power it's like hesitating especially uphill and .lack of throttle play

So adjust for some throttle play at the adjuster nut at the top of the carb.. Remove and clean the carb. Move the clip on the jet needle down one notch. This should take care of the problem.
Best wishes.

Kawasaki KMX 125 losing power

hi man,
I had a similar problem, so maybe I can help you. it can be connected with air filter. under your seat there should be some kind of cover on the air filter. just remove it. I've noticed this problem when I unrestricted my KMX 125. the hole on the cover on the air filter is too small.

Kmx 125 engine knocking

Check the piston to cylinder clearance. You very well could have wore either the piston and/or the cylinder.
Also check the rod for up/down play.Running out of oil could have ruined any bearing in the motor.
