SOURCE: key stuck in 2009 chevy hhr ignition help please

You may want to try pushing fordward harder into the park position while turning the key to the off position. The locking cable may need adjustment. If this does not work, try turning the collar just behind the keyswitch counter clockwise while trying to remove the key.Thanks, Dana

First when it dies just jiggle the ignition key a little bit. You may have an ignition switch loosing connection. Also check the connections to the ignition module to make sure they are tight and dry. Also check inside the tank for any foreign material that can plug the fuel opening in the tank. When the engine dies the blockage floats away. I have also seen loose connections at the coil on some atvs.

could be a bad bearing in the cvt cover (assuming its a cvt) replace it with a japanese bearing
