When you select the screen resolution, you need to keep going until you get one that fits your screen. just know that old shows don't work so well on newer wide screen TV's, you might be trying to get an old show that was created before wide screen to work on a wide screen, that won't work so well.

If you use the lens in wide and the f lash is not wide as same (if the lens is 18 wide and the f lash is 28 wide ) you will not get good photo so if use 18 mm wide lens then use 18 mm wide f lash and ( i have told about external flash )

The wide angle lens is generally an "optional" lens that can be used for group or scenery pictures when you want to shoot a "wide" picture. A "normal" lens is generally around 50mm (plus / minus 5mm). A wide lens is anywhere from 17mm to 24mm (or so).

I recommend obtaining a wide lens... with a cap.

Tele-wide switch is fauly.(technical name is SWITCH BLOCK CONTROL).repalace by expert.

I had a similar issue. Realized that the TV's "WIDE" setting was changed from "Wide" to "Panaramic". It was this panaramic setting that was causing the distortion on both sides of the screen. I had to switch it back to "Wide" using the "Wide" button on the remote to toggle back to "Wide" setting. Once I put it back to "Wide", problem went away. Hope this helps.
