2000 Yamaha Roadstar 1600 won't start

I recently bought a 2000 yamaha roadstar 1600. Test rode fine, rode it a few days started to be sluggish at starting. Then one morning I went down to ride it and nothing. The battery is fine and the bike turns on but no reaction at all. I replaced the right side swithch, tip sensor and spark plugs so far

SOURCE: Try to start my 1600

is the battery flat?.start with that!!..if not..are the battery termanials done up tight on the battery...then check that solenoind termenals are done up...hope this helps

Check if the charging system works ok.
At idle with lights off, you should see 13.5-14.5V on battery's terminals and 0.5V less with high beams on, at idle speed as well as at 4000rpm.
Use a fresh good verified battery to take the readings.
