There are three connections to the fuel pump.
Fuel in/out at ends, the pipes should only reach to the correct ends. The IN pipe connects to the end toward front of the bike , OUT toward the back heading to carb.
A small connection on the back for the vacuum pipe from the carb.

This pump only spits the fuel along rather feabley, also check the gause on the fuel tap. When bleeding, remove the fuel pipe from the carb and blow into the tank in order to force the fuel through the pipes until all air is removed.

1994 Nissan v6 4x4 king cab fuel gauge wont work but fuel pump works. What can I do to fix this?

see if you might have a bad ground on the gas tank where wires hook up to the top of gas tank. I don't know if you can reach up and move the wires around from side to side could have a bad connection. might have to let the gas tank down. have you tried to check your fuses first. if you find one for the fuel gauge pull it out look at real good make sure it is not burnt across inside by looking at the fuse what I usually do if you have another good fuse same amp is try a different fuse just to be sure.i use to work on cars a lot but had surgery on my back so from work history of 30 plus years of knowledge I hope I can help others. I hope this works let me know if this helps. you also might try to wiggle the wires around on the back of fuel gauge. you may also have a bad gas gauge but try what I said to try first. god bless

Eninge wont start unless petrol is tipped down carby. carby is a rochester quadrajet with auto choke .

might have to put a carby kit through it, the jets might be blocked thats what it sounds like. when you poor it in the fuel and air gets in straight away but if the jets are blocked you wont get the fuel through. try carby cleaner, use the accelrator cable on the side of the carby to rev it right up while spraying in carby cleaner car will try die out then let off the accelerator. basically you have to clean your carby out

My car wont start, my dad says it may be the fuel pump, how do i tell?

Get under the rear end of car with a test light and fit the clip to the clean part of the chassis and test the wires to the pump (going into the pump)
1 should light up ..
THEN go to the fuel rail or carby if carby type and take off the feed pipe and get someone to turn on the key and the fuel should come out of the pipe ,,so then you know you have a problem in the pump if no fuel comes out or the carby or fuel rail if it does come out ...

49cc mini pocket quad wont start

if it has a kill switch make sure it is on, check that you are getting spark at the plug and have the right fuel in the motor.
Remove the air filter from the carbi and squirt some 2 stroke fuel directly into the throat of the carbi and try to start it.
hope this helps
