SOURCE: my radio on my82 honda goldwing dont have sound
There are several possibilities. First, if the clock and cassette door are affected, it is a low voltage feed issue.. bad connectors, corroded terminals, etc. This voltage feed is from the 5 amp fuse in the very bottom of the relay box to the right of the main fuse block (i.e. not in the main fuse box).. clean check this fuse... If the low volume is FM only, it is internal to the radio.. in this case, another symptom is that the search/seek feature never locks on a station.. Typically this is a problem with a component on the board.. only place I know that works on them is Sierra Electronics in Troy Ohio, but others probably exist..

It is one of two possible things:
There's corrosion in the caliper. Specifically in the groove that holds the piston seal. Take the seal out and scrape all signs of corrosion from the groove.
OR, the master cylinder has a gummed up check valve. Sometimes, you can take the master cylinder off, clean it out with hot soapy water (Simple Green works very well), blow it out with compressed air - and it'll be fine (without taking it apart). Otherwise, you'll need to get the rebuild kit and replace all of its internal moving parts.

SOURCE: replase seal rear shocks 1982 goldwing still leaks
Seals can become fish-mouthed (if the seal twisted one one side)you would probably have to do them new again. If the shock was scarified or rusty seals get ruined quickly. How much air pressure is applied can also blow them out if its to much.
SOURCE: How do you adjust the rear brakes on a 1982
There is no adjustment other than pedal height , which is adjusted at the master cylinder by loosening the lock nut and turning the stud that pushes on the piston. If the the brake is sticking , take the master cylinder apart and make sure the brake fluid feeder(big hole) and the fluid return hole(pin hole) are both clear. Also make sure the caliper is clean and floating back and forth. That is so one brake pad does not wear out faster than the other.
