Try taking the carburetor float bowl off and check to see if anything got in there. I posted you a problem I had with my bike. I turned the throttle and the engine just died. As soon as I let off the throttle the engine would start running again. Found a powdery rust like substance in the nut in the bottom of the bowl. Kept gas from going up the main jet when I cracked open the throttle. My bike is an old Harley but carburetors pretty much work the same way however they may look. Give it a try, you said you tried everything else. You may even be able to take the float bowl off without removing the carburetor from the bike. Let us know if you had any luck.
Hi this could be 2 problems or more depending if your motorcycle has CV cabs or standard slide carbs in both cases dirty carbs will do this and should be cleaned also the standard slide carbs are less resposive than CV carbs if your engine is in low rpms and you snap the throttle the engine tends to bog down. this was a complaint with a few customers who bought these units back in 1978-79 when i worked for a suzuki dealership.
I got a Suzuki lt 50 it starts fine drives fine at low speed then when I go over half throttle it bogs down I've cleaned the spart plug cleaned the carb and cleaned the jets but its still doin it any ideas please ??
Stick in a new spark plug then remove the float bowl on the carb and clean the carb. Chances are the main jet is plugged up with a bit of trash. Below is a diagram of your carb. Please rate my answer. Thanks.
If the engine is equipped with a carburetor, it sounds like the accelerator pump is not working. Take your air filter off and with the engine OFF, crank the throttle wide open. You should see a squirt of fuel squirt into the carb from the brass thing in the mouth of the carb. If not, the accelerator pump is not working. It probably needs a new diaphragm in it.
To put a new diaphragm in the carb, remove the air filter backing plate and take the four screws out that holds the float bowl on. With the float bowl off the carb, turn it upside down. Take out the remaining two screws in the accelerator pump plate. You'll see the diaphragm and the return spring under the plate. Put the new diaphragm on position with the sping on top and reinstall the plate. Put the float bowl back on the carb and reinstall the air cleaner backing plate. Make sure the throttle works as it should and start the engine. It should rev cleanly now.
hi buddy set the needle clip to its normal condition and also on the carb is the mixture screw you need to turn this all the way in and out 1 turns and try this you will always get a bog if you rev fully too quick i had this problem with my kx85 and it was just this hope this helped mate i will send the pic in a mo
