Hi buddy you obviosly havent put it back together propally restrip it down and check for the following 2 circlips in either side of the piston where the wrist pin is also check the barrel is smooth by rubbing your nail in around the barrel if it feels rough or pumps get some glass paper and rub it around the barrel but dont keep rubbing one side as you will make the barrel oval shaped do it all evenly until its smooth then put the piston rings in the little pin slots on the piston then get some 2 stroke and rub around the barrel also make sure nothing has dropped down inside the crank shaft if so this will jam it up then put the barrel back on

Just put in s new top end a yz 85 2008 , wouldnt start but could if it was bump started and ran bad. Opened her up again and there was marks all over the piston, help??

When fitting a new top end you may have broken the piston rings. On a Two Stroke engine the rings have a gap which must not enter any ports. To prevent this the slot for the rings has a metal peg to hold the ring gap in one place.
On Four Stroke engines there is no ring peg as there are no ports.
If a ring breaks whilst being fitted the broken parts will enter a port and then be dragged up and down the barrel causing damage to piston and barrel. The broken parts one having made their way to the top of the piston will be crushed between the cylinder head and the piston damaging both. The cyl head can be re used but the piston is most likely ruined.

Got nearly no compression when kickstarting it

Could be rings ... could be valves ... could be holes in the pistons ... could be hole in the head ... gasket ... could be any combination of troubles ... could be your kick start is not engaging ... (I doubt that) ... good luck with your project. Get a GOOD BOOK on the subject before you turn the first bolt and get your wallet on an exercise program.

I have a TM 125 and the radiator water leaks into the motor oil what do i need to fix this

That is a classic symptom of a leaky head gasket. You will need to change this asap to prevent further damage to your engine. You would be as well do ing a piston and base gasket change while your at it. And remember to get a new set of cylinder head bolts, for when you put it all back together again.

Cheers,

Andy....

I'm about to rebuilt my RGV 250 VJ21a top end but I don't know wich rings I should use, cylinders are stock size but I had too little compression less than 85 psi. should I use rings at the 25 measure will...

hi buddy the standard piston and rings will be the ones you need if its still below 85psi your barrel must be out of shape or you are leaking air in the gasket or in the coolant also when you put a new piston kie in get new gaskets my kx85 new ring and piston went to 185psi
