Check the water level in the battery and add water to cover the top of the plates. Charge the battery. Replace it if it will not take a charge. A weak battery can cause the problem.

Flasher

Be sure the fuse is in place in the fuse-box.

Also test the relay that controls the turn indicators. Occasionally, the relay itself emits the noise heard while the turn indicator is on.

Flasher Relay Unit

So you hear the flasher working? If you put your finger on the unit when it's flashing you will feel the one that is working. It is possible that the new unit doesn't look exactly like the old one, but if the electrical connection is the same, it should be alright. Some cars have two flashers, one for the turns, and one for the hazard lights. And some cars use a composite flasher that is for both the turns and the hazard lights. Keep looking. It should be up in there, possibly just to the right or just to the left of the steering column. If you still can't find it, check with a Suzuki dealer for the location...Or, go to www..autozone.com. and register there for free. You can list your car there, make, model, year, and engine, and you will find some good repair info there, along with component locations. It may tell you where that flasher is.
Good luck.

My turnsignals only light up and don't flash on my 87` sporster.

On your '87 model, you probably have a bad flasher unit. It still used the "old style" flasher unit rather than the new Turn Signal Microprocessor that Harley went to in 1991. If it's the original, it's a round "can" in the headlight housing, part number 68543-64B (or you can use a heavy duty automotive unit #552). There's usually a clip that holds it on the side of the housing. Also, make sure that all your bulbs are lit up. If you have a bad bulb in one of the sockets, it won't flash on that side. I think all the bulbs are supposed to be #1156 bulbs.

Good Luck

Where do i find the flasher for my 1990 flt

I'm not sure your '90 model FLT has a "flasher" as you might think. It may have the turn signal cancelling unit. The way to tell is if when you depress the turn signal switch and let it go, does the light continue to flash for about 15 seconds? If so, you have a turn signal cancelling module instead of the a conventional flasher unit. If when you let off on the switch, the light stops flashing immediately, you have the old style flasher. I can't remember when they changed to the module in all the different modules.

If it has a module, it's probably under the seat the tank. If it's a standard flasher, it's probably behind the headlight.

I have turnsignals problem on 92 buick lasabre limited i replaced flasher, all bulbs are good. if i manually move the turnsignal lever up and down the bulbs will flash also hazard lights work what else can...

When you say you replaced "flasher" I'm guessing you mean the combination turn signal flasher unit. If the hazards "flash" on the 4 way but the turn signal does not you are looking at a turn signal switch type problem. ... If 4way flashers do NOT work you need to check wiring immediately around the flasher unit mounting area.Or change Flasher unit Good Luck.

I CAN NOT FIND WHERE THE FLASHER UNIT IS SO I CAN REPLACE IT SO MY TURNING SIGNAS WORK

On my 2001 (same as 97) Cavalier under the steering column is a flap that is held in place by one torx screw. Drop that and you should be able to look way up and see the wires coming out of the flasher unit. The unit is attached to something metal by not much. Grab the whole assembly (flasher unit and its plug) and wiggle it free. Then you can separate the flasher unit and its plug. BTW the old unit was bright green or maybe that is some kind of cover that helps to reattach it but I didn't bother.
