I have just seen your post and have the same situation, I was riding along and lost all electrics, traced it back the a blown 20amp fuse mounted next to the battery holder, can any tell me if this is a symptom of the Rectifier Regulator as it constantly blows fuses if you replace them - just happend today so keen to know what worked, cheers

Check if you have gas?, see if the fuse is shot, should be on the bottom side of the gas tank, could be just a faulty spark plug, worse case scenario the pulse coil is shot or the stator

Testimonial: "Cheeers, turned out to be a blown fuse, fixed, back on road, brilliant. thanks for the quick response and perfect advice, again thanks "

A lot of starter motors are standard. It's not something they change.

I have a suzuki intruder vl 125 and recently when waiting at a junction the engine has just died i have to keep the revs up to avoid stalling. also sometimes whilst moving the engine sounds like it dies....

the stalling is due to the rectifier (its a box under the plastics on the bike and has fins on it) if not this then possibly an air/fuel mixture problem but as with my old vl it was the rectifier

No spark from plugs

Does the trigger sensor (around the flywheel) works properly?
This device tells the ECU when to fire.

Bike died during poker run

I would eliminate the possibility of bad gas first, considering you had just filled up. Move on to the other possibilities after eliminating the simple ones first. Battery, spark plugs, plug wires, other ignition problem, fuel delivery problem.

Engine turns over / Petrol OK/ No Spark

as with any problem you need a clymer book for your bike or you can disconnect the wiring harness(all of them one at a time)turn the key on and use a volt meter to make sure you are getting power.does the engine turn over?

Igniter problem

If you get power to the lights, your fuel pump start working when you turn the ignition key then the coil is your problem, you can replace them yourself
