Suzuki 1400 intruder wont start.. just clicking noise.

(1994 Suzuki 1400 intruder) My bike wont start when i push the button. Just get a clicking noise. If i jump it it starts, and i ride it for 30-40 min, but as soon as i turn it off it is dead again. Batterie is only 5 months old.. Help!!!

It's most likely the connection to the battery. The screws dont tighten in well and you get the famous clicking....I replaced the stock philips screws with a hex bolt and after two years of trying to solve the problen have been starting everytime for the past year no problems. Another gie away is the intermitant starting problem gets worse when wet.

2001 Intruder electric starter does nothing. All other electrical is fine... The lights are on, horn works, all lights; but starter doesn't respond.

flasher relay should not stop it from starting. check
there is safety switches on some brake and clutch levers that could be bad or sticking.check kill switch to see if it work proper

remove starter button cluster and check wires for corrosion etc as they can get weather in ! touch the two button wires together as if to start , if yes the prob is the button so if its a sealed part replace it ! P....
