Kawaski zx12r 2003. bike.is unreliable of late. can start it fine and then only travel a short distance n turn bike off n then bike wont start. it has recently had a new battery fitted. my husband has to put bike in gear and rock her and then she might start. its worying because bike hasnt been unreliable before.

Check coolant level . leaking fuel lines while running and stopped, gas tank filler cap , temperature censor ,low oil pressure , crank censor and fuel pump . Could also be the ECU ...
Not likely. 02 sensors will not cause a car to not start, run bad yes. Take it to an auto parts store and have the codes checked. Even if the light isn't on. This sounds like an electrical problem. But starters and fuel pumps will cause a no start after they are warm/ hot. Let me know. Randy
To change oil remove drain plug under bike, while oil is draining into pan remove left lower fairing and remove oil filter from front of engine. Replace plug and filter and refill, replace fairing.
It seems as though one of your front drive axle universals has failed and locked up. The other possibility would be a dry steering knuckle. Thank you, Dana
yes buddy the bike will only start if there is pressure on the injectors if not it will refuse to start also make sure the stand is up and get back to me
