Best guess is faulty front tire. If wheel bearings are maintained and not showing signs of wear or lose. also rim made be out of round do to hard hit or stop from pot hole . If spoke rim I would take wheel over to shop and let them spin balance and check for uneven wear on tire even with only 800 miles. It will show .

Need radator for kawasaki vn 1500 classic tourer 2001 is the driffter the same radator as the vn 1500 classic plz hellllllllllllp

TO ALL VN1500 OWNERS....This once happen to me,
I went to the garage to start the bike "Nothing ""The first thing is the lights are bright but no turning over,Next you think the solenoid is kaput but the answer was very simple and the fix takes 30 seconds..
Do not take the bike to bits looking for other problems and look at the clutch leaver and you will see some wires going into a plastic shroud going into the switch in the clutch leaver, Make sure this has not popped out if its connection as it some times may do after a few years due to constant turning on the handlebars,
When this is not connected you will have a bike that will not fire up but comes alive and you will hear a clicking noise but this is from the engine carb area and every function of the bike will work but it will not turn over, Worth looking at and saves sixteen quid for a starter unit you never needed.

2011 Nomad 1700 lacks power in 6th gear especially in heavy wind or in mountains. Always shifting down to 5th to keep up. Only 33 mpg doing 70 mph. Improves to 39 MPG at 55. I had a 2003 1600 Classic...

nomads are heavy bikes mate and i feel all is as should be with yours, top gear is usually for on the straight and cruising, at a constant speed. my vtx 1800 does similar albeit only 5 speed i still have to pull down a cog and work the gears on hills. the mpg doesnt sound a miss for the nomad either. my vtx does similar.

When driving, if I go into a right curve and exelerate i feel a strong vibration, but only if i am exelerating. If I am costing around the curve it's just fine. Please let me know what you think. Thanks...

Are you getting a humming or grinding noise with it as well? This may be a wheel bearing issue causing the vibration which will be worse under accleration.

When is the last time you did a "once over" on the bike? Go around the bike checking for loose bolts and stuff. Also check the tension on the primary chain and the final drive belt.

Good Luck

Feel shake in the floor and steering wheel at around 70 mph and a slight turn on the steering wheel you can feel it a little more. what parts could cause this? already had the wheel balances checked.

Tierod ends. Bad belt in a tire. If you have a bumpy brake pedal, a warped rotor has enougn play to bounce against pads. Also Hub bearings were known to fail after 35,000 miles.

For Hub bearings there may be a Service Bulletin, but your vehicle is going on 10 years old. Usually the side that shakes the most on a opposite curve is the problem side. As in left curve the outside right tire is spinning slightly faster, right side curve its the left side spinning faster.
