SOURCE: four wheeler back fires

If the motor has two carbs then balance the carbs. Balancing the carbs basically means being certain the slides on both carbs open up simultaneously. If one carb opens sooner than the other then it 'drives' the other carb and can cause the backfire. Other things can can cause a backfire but lets start here first.

SOURCE: explain the four stroke cycleof a three cylinder

It is the same as any other engine no matter how many cylinders there are. . A 4 stroke engine has the intake stroke then compression then ignition then exhaust.(piston goes down for intake stroke, then up for compression then it fires the fuel air mixture from the intake stroke and that pushes the piston back down and on its way back up the exhaust valve opens for the exhaust stroke)

SOURCE: yamaha 225 four stroke overheating

If the engine wasn't overheating before the thermostat was replaced it could be a problem with the installation or possibly the coolant levels weren't refilled enough or at all, also if the leg was rebuilt their may be a problem with the way it was done and the engine is now working too hard to turn the prop although I think that this is unlikely. First thing is to check the coolant levels and if they are fine then you need to ensure that the water pump is circulating the coolant. If both of those check out fine then I would think that the thermostat installation is suspect and should be checked.

SOURCE: wont start

also check the jetting is set properly for weather ect, check for flooding, as mentioned check vavle clearance, also fiddle with the idle knob and fuel mixture screw(this is annoying to get to as its under the carb) and im asuming you already know the starting procedure for the 426.

Xs750 what is the firing order

There is no firing order. Your bike has a coil that fires on both the compression stroke and the exhaust stroke (also called a wasted spark). Therefore either plug wire can go on either cylinder and the bike should run the same.On four cylinder bikes this meant that you could run four plugs using only two coils and two sets of points instead of four coils and four points. If the bike is running poorly try new spark plugs and new spark plug caps first(start with the cheap stuff). Next check the actual coil and pulse pick up or points. You may have to replace the coil only because the wires are cracked shorting.

Do i have to mix 2 stroke oil on the gas for the 4 stroke bikes or just add regular gas on the tank? if is what is the scale for the mix?

DO NOT mix oil in the gas on your four stroke engine. You will foul the spark plug(s), build up deposits on the valves and head, and make a smokey, smelly mess. A two stroke engine uses the fuel/oil mix to lubricate the engine before being used as fuel. A four stroke engine has a separate lubrication system and does not normally burn any oil. As the name implies, a two stroke engine works in two strokes. The first stroke is downward, where the fuel/oil mix and air are drawn into the cylinder. The momentum from the crankshaft counterbalance or force from the other cylinder(s) drive the piston back up compressing the mix, and the spark plug sparks at or slightly before the top of the stroke. The rapid combustion of the fuel/oil/air mix drives the piston down, which is the power stroke, and then the cycle starts all over again. A four stroke engine has an intake stroke down taking in the fuel/air mix, a compression stroke up, a power stroke down as the fuel/air mix is ignited at or before the top of the stroke, and a exhaust stroke up before starting all over again. A four stroke is much cleaner and more reliable than a two stroke, but it is heavier and has less torque. A two stroke engine is much lighter and has more torque, but takes more maintenance.
