SOURCE: i have a 1988 yamaha 750

Easy to find! Just phone your local Yamaha dealer with the VIN numbers and they can give you all the information you want. In the off chance the dealer is too busy or just doesn't want to please a customer, just Google ' yamaha motorcycle texas ' and you will have plenty of other dealers you can call. Use your own state or any state in the Google search.

The Key code is only on a tag that comes with key set. if it was not saved or written down in manuel there is no other way to get it.

How do i remove the carburetors

Under your tank and likely will need to remove one or both side panels.... I strongly recommend you purchase a Service Manual for your ride. Either Yamaha or Clymer's will help you greatly. Good Luck! Bob

The Throttle and the choke on My 1997 600 Thundercat both seem stuck solid and when I crank the bike its leaking petrol. Has not been used for about a year.

Is the bike carbureted? I so it could be clogged. Today's fuel only about 6 months without a fuel stabilizer. If this is the case and it has been sitting for a long period of time then you need to clean the carburetor or carburetors. If you have never done this before I would seek professional help because it is not easy to clean the carburetors.

My Yamaha will turn, but won't start. Any ideas?

this gives you nearly 50 places to start looking.
Mainly - if you were to keep it real simple - you need electric, fuel and air,. if not then you can't start.

When was the last time it ran?
it could have old fuel or deposits int eh carburetor,. etc., etc., etc..
Not finding what you are looking for?
