Harley Davidson Tachometer-2003 Road King + 2005 tach with 7 wires. @ I had a tach with 3 wires working ...but want to replace with this one because the face matches my speedo, better. I have found the combination that allows the backlights to work....but, not able to get the signal wire from bike pink to connect to the correct one on the tach?

remove big 1/2" nut below speedo, and + screw lower on tank dash, then lift intire dash and youre their. dose this help?

The pink wire goes to the pink eng rpm signal wire coming from the ecm. Go to the stealership and ask 'em to show you where it is.

Check the ignition, pull the points cover off and then put a heat gun on the ignition and heat it up to see if the bike will cut out. I know you replaced the coil if you can check it again to see if you have 12 volts coming and in and out of the coil after you get it to fail just to double check thats the problem.

i have a 2003 ultra classic my riding lights keep blowing the fuse it wont do it sitting in the garage i have gone thru the wiring harnessing looking for the short fixed many things but still have the problem the turn signals work the brake lights still work so where do i look
