Could be.

Also the jiggling thing could be a coincidence. :0)

Tell me this.... when you turn the key, do you hear a CLICK?? If so your starter is probably bad.

SOURCE: I have a ctm scooter the battries are charged

I would say the throttle pot is slightly out of neutral allowing the scooter to travel slightly when turned on. Try moving the throttle lever slightly in the opposite direction to which the scooter is travelling (i.e. if the scooter moves forward when turned on, press the lever to go backwards, but only a small amount). If the scooter stops and you hear a clicking noise from the back of the scooter (this would be the brake clicking on) then that would be your problem. Would just need a small adjustment but best left to a dealer as it has to be sopt on! Sometimes scooters will not work if the throttle is slightly out but if its only a very small amount out of neutral, it might sometimes work in the manner you have suggested. We have come accross this fault on a few occasions. Hope this helps...

Hi. Yes, most, but not all machines have a "sleep" mode. More for safety than any other reason. Neil .

2. Battery Voltage too over 32VDC hi or too low under 17VDC
3. Left motor Fault
4. Right Motor Fault
5. Left Brake Motor fault

With batter fully charged and when stopped the scotter beeps and you have to turn it on and off several times.

Hi, That sounds like a switch problem, the turning it off and on ?

Could be a loose wire inside the control panel, carefully remove the top cover of the control panel and locate the wires to the ignition switch check that they are not loose, if not then look at the ignition switch it self. Maplins(UK) do sell a similar unit.

GeWiz.

Intermittent loss of mobility, get beep beep sound

I sounds like the switch is not making contact relieably. Make sure your key is clean and if that does not work, than the switch inside the console will need to be replaced. Contact Pride Mobility for a technician local to you.
