My 2008 Kawasaki 250r Ninja has NO power at all. The bike was running fine until I parked it. When I tried to restart the bike, all the power indicators was on until I hit the ignition button. Then all power went out with out the bike starting! Any ideas? Thanks

Does it turn over when trying to start? If no then it could be the starter, switch, or battery. Sounds like the starter, especially if you tried another switch.
It's not comfortable for long distance because of driving position specialy if you are more than 6" (180cm) heigh. It can run 1700km without any problems just dont burn it (don't drive it too long over 6-7 oooRPM) and you should be just fine.
Yes I do believe they do. Try going to Powersportseast.com Look in the shopping section on the left of the homepage. You will want to use the parts fische and load the info for your bike. It allows you to see what the dealer parts counter can see. See if this helps. I'm pretty sure the 250 ninja really didn't change until 2008 when it got the BIG overhaul
May I suggest a trip to your local library. Cycle repair books should be in 646 stacks of reference. Otherwise, go to your Kaw dealer and pay their price for one that covers your bike. You'll still pay less than if you paid them to rewire it...and you'll learn something.
when you see the velly of the bike, you could find big hole cap which is oil filter. Take it off and replace it. Next to the cap, there is a bolt same size as the cap bolt which is oil tank cap bolt. When you screw the bolt, the oil will plow out. Let it plow untill done. Put the bolt back when it empty. Right side of the bike and middle of the foot fade, you could find a refill cap. Replace oil untill the oil fill up enough. Back side of foot fade, There is a oil check. Between full and poor would be fine.
Kawasaki engineers spend years fine-tuning exhaust systems for best performance, while staying legal. If you did what you propose, not only will you lose power, but you will also eventually burn out your exhaust valves from over-heating due to improper air backflow. Sure it might sound cool. But, is it worth it? You're much better off buying an aftermarket pipe. Either way, you MUST have your bike professionally re-tuned for best performance and reliability. Otherwise, you're just trashing your bike.
