2013 terex 750 runs but at high rpm falls flat on its face can back off the throttle a little bit and it runs but will not run right at full throttle

Daft question have you checked the airfilter is not bocked , simple check first . Then check spark plugs to see if the engine is running weak or rich KC

SOURCE: Backpack only runs low RPM, especially when cold.

Your carbeurator is gummed up. Remove the old fuel and make up a new fuel mix with new gas from the gas station. Then get a can of carbeurator cleaner spray. Three short squirts in the air intake and let it run. Three more squirts every minute or so until you dissolve the partial blockage that is causing your problem.

Air fuel mixture problem,,,you need to have the filter pulled out and cleaned. Check fuel system for debris and clean, that includes all the fuel lines and possibly disassemble carb and clean and reassemble.

Try removing the muffler and look inside of the exaust port, you should be able to see the piston in the full opening of the port. If you can, try starting and running at wide open throttle. If it runs fine( a bit loud, so wear hering protection), then you have a plugged or partialy blocked muffler or spark arestor. Sometimes rich mixture can cause excessive carbon build up.

Sounds like you have dirt/debris in your caburetor jets,fuel passages or a diaphgram that is becoming non-flexible.
Check/Clean/Replace your Air Filter, a dirty air filter can make your engine run to rich with fuel.
Note: ALWAYS USE COMPRESSED AIR TO CLEAN YOUR JETS AND PASSAGES, VERY IMPORTANT.
Note:Before you disassemble the carburetor:
Mark each piece with a awl, or some kind of instrument that will make an alignment scratch before you disassemble the carburetor into separate pieces.
That way you will know which way it goes back together when you reassemble it.
Sometimes you can get by with priming the carburetor or by using starting fluid and letting it run a few times like that, and it will flush the gunk out of the jets,but most of the time you will need to rebuild the carburetor.
Be sure to check your fuel tank for water and dirt/debris, if there is water/debris then you need to clean your tank.
Check you fuel line condition after a while they will degrade and need replacment.
Check/Clean/Replace your fuel filter if you have one, normally they are located in the fuel tank of weedeaters.
When you remove your fuel lines from the carburetor be sure to make a drawing to how the lines are connected to the carburetor.
Normally the big line will be the line the fuel filter is connected to inside of the tank.The smaller of the two lines is the return to the fuel tank from the carburetor after it is pumped thru the carburetor by the primer bulb.
Make sure you are using fresh fuel...and oil mix if your using a two cycle weedeater with the oil to the right mixture and not too much oil as it can cause hard starting.
If the trimmer is over a couple of years old, then I recommend that you buy and install a new carburetor repair kit,because the diaphragm will get hard and that will cause it to be hard to crank.
The diaphgram may look good and flexible, but it can be deceiving and not act as a fuel pump as it should because it has become too hard and will cause hard starting,start and run and shut off, etc.
When you clean your carburetor, I recommend that you use a laquer thinner type cleaner to clean and dissolve the laquer build-up in the float and needle jet passages.
Be sure to remove all plastic and rubber parts before using the laquer thinner because it can dissolve the plastic parts and render them unuseable.
Be sure to use COMPRESSED AIR to blow out all the fuel and air passages.The higher air pressure is needed to blow some of the trash/debris from the fuel or air passages.
Be careful when blowing out the passages, because there are sometimes small rubber type seats in the bottom of some of the passages.
Keep in mind that the float (if you have one) for the carburetor must be level when you go to reassemble the carburetor or follow the instructions you get with the carburetor kit, or you could also ask the parts man that you get your kit from.
When you clean your carburetor and remove the jet screws, you will first need to lightly seat the jet screws.
But before you lightly seat the jet screws count the number of turns it takes to seat the jet screws from their original position.
Be sure to mark the turns down on a piece of paper.
That way when you put the jets back in, you know to lightly seat them first and then turn them back out to their original position before you started.
Note:
The little spring inside of the carburetor goes under the float arm.
That is where your fuel inlet needle/float valve is located...on the arm at the end.
Normally there is a small indetion in the carburetor base and a small protrusion on the underneath of the float arm where the spring will be in the right postion for installation.
The spring will set in the indention and you will install the float arm with the needle/float valve and float rod into position over top of the spring,you will push down until it is in position and then you can tighten the screw that holds the float arm assembly in position.
Once you have your carburetor cleaned/rebuilt that should solve your problem.

A friend of mine gave me a zr series ,625cdv homelite weed eater and I can't figure out how to adjust the carb. Bought a new primer bulb it crank and run for a little bit but I have to idle it high

Screw in the HIGH and LOW needle valves. Then turn each one out 1 full turn, That should be a good starting point.
After engine is running Run engine at Full throttle. Loosen HIGH screw until the engines RPM slows a bit. When that happens Turn screw back in until it revs high and then just starts to slow again. You do not want the engine to run at it's highest RPM or it's not getting enough Lubrication It need to run Rich, that's why you screw the screw in a bit after the engine has reached it's highest RPM. Let it idle down . Then Accelerate hard, if it hesitates, loosen or tighten the LOW until it accelerates quickly with no hesitation.

Adjust carburator on homlite chain saw

Hi

If its an old Homelite you should have 3 screw on the carburator.
First bigger screw for adjust idle on the butterfly.
The 2 other for the mixture. One screw is ''L'' for low rpm mixture an other screw is ''H'' for high rpm mixture.

First the idle screw. It should just open a little bit the carburator butterfly.
Second full close both ''L'' and ''H'' screws (turn clockwise).
After open both ''L'' and ''H'' screws 1/2 to 3/4 turn (conterclockwise)

Normally the saw should start. Tune the ''L'' screw to have the motor running at idle if idle is to fast at this point is not important. After motor is running by itself at idle tune the ''H'' screw.
Full throttle tune the ''H'' screw to be able to pass from low rpm to high rpm with no lag.
Than at full throttle open again a little bit the ''H'' screw to make the high rmp mixture more rich.
Becarful if ''H'' screw is not adjust correctly the mixture will be to poor and motor damage can occur.

It may be necessary to re-tune a very little bit the ''L'' screw and idle screw after the correct setting of the ''H'' screw.

If it still not working carburator kit may be needed,

On some newer model there is no adjusting screws in this case see if a carburator kit is available for your model.

99 gsxr 750 losing power after 10k rpm if you have

The carburetor jets, there are 3 bands; A low, mid range and high range rpms. 10k would fall in the Mid range power. I would let the bike warm up a little bit and tweak the middle knob on the left side of the bike and keep in mind you need the right mixture so turn it quarter turn one way at a time per testing the mid range rpms while riding, tweaking 1/4 turns in between tests. If it gets worse, turn it the other direction until you find that sweet spot in the mixture of fuel/oxygen. The carburetor jets, there are 3 bands; A low, mid range and high range rpms. 10k would fall in the Mid range power. When at full throttle it feels like it's losing power

definitely a carb. issue......before taking it off and cleaning it try running some seafoam through (sold at advance, autozone etc) the tank.....sounds like the jets are a little clogged

Sounds like a fuel starvation problem.(lean condition)
Check fuel and air filter and for a open air vent on fuel tank.
If you have a high speed fuel mixture adjustment ......try it a little richer.

Off idle miss

and I'm out of ideas. I have a RR 125 Motard with about 12000 miles on the clock. It's been trouble free for the years that I've owned it. Recently I noticed a slight miss when running at part throttle. RPM doesn't matter it misses from idle to almost redline but only when the throttle is in the first 5% of it's range. I did the full routine, carb cleaning, valve adjustment (ugh...shims), air/fuel/oil filters. No change. At more than 5% throttle, there's no miss, and it pulls very strong. At full throttle, I don't have the guts to see the end of 4th gear. Tempurature doesn't make a difference, hot or cold, it runs the same, although when the choke is on (cold) there's no miss (but a high idle). Turning on the choke after it's wamed up it will bog and die (like it should). I suppose I could have missed something when cleaning the carbs, but usually, a little bit of choke will fix that. Not in this case. There's no hesitation when opening the throttle, and under high loads, any RPM, any gear, it runs fine. So, I'm at a loss. I'm open to suggestions. ,Check for vacuum leaks first - carb boots, vacuum lines, etc. Also check the CV diaphragms for cracks, splits and pinholes. Then, I think I'd re-check/clean the pilot jets. Then, if that doesn't help, I'd open the idle mixture screws a bit - maybe 1/8 to 1/4 turn to get a little richer mix.,,,
