SOURCE: 79 firebird belt replaced that wraps around the

Your new belt wil have stretched a bit, and you should have enough adjustment to stop the squeek. I'm not 100% sure if there are tensioners on the belt, if so they may reqire greasing or to check out, spray the tensioners with releasing oil' leave for an hour and see if they have moved. They are plastic bushes that your belt would have gone round.

To quieten a belt that squeeks, get some talcum powder, and when the engine is running spray it over the groove in the belt, it may be that's all it needs beccause there is a small bit of contamination on the belt, this wil soak uo any gunk and make your car quiet again. Let me know, regards, dave

Hello need to replace a blade drive belt on a victa vrx 14.5hp 38 inch cut

Replace the blade drive belt on a Victa VRX 14.5HP 38-inch cut lawn mower with the correct size. The old belt was 77 inches by 1/2 inches, but a larger new belt may not fit. Verify the size requirements with the manual or Victa customer support, or compare to the new belt purchased. If incorrect, return and purchase the right size.

What is the valve clearance on a Big Boy 200cc Flame bike, and do you do it once on TDC.

'Big Boy Flame Bike' so like a Chinese 'friendly name', rather than a standard 'year make model'.

Yes valve clearance is measured at TDC when both the Inlet and Exhaust valves are closed.

Help in the link. It is an easy job.

What size pedals do I need for a muddy fox Neptune

There are 2 sizes of pedals, they are based on the shaft size, thats the part that connects to the crank. The two size are 1/2 and 9/16ths. To determine your pedal size, take a ruler to the back side of the crank arm and measure the shaft size. If you have problems, take your bike to the local bike shop

What is the size of the thread of a standard bike pedal?

There are 2 standard sizes:

Standard one-piece cranks 1/2" x 20 tpi

Standard 3-piece cranks 9/16" x 20 tpi.

The Right Pedal (gear side) has a normal thread, the Left has a reverse thread.

Mikuni jetting

If it's the Sreamin' Eagle Mikuni, it should come jetted close enough to take your bike to someone with an exhaust gas analyzer. That's the best way to get your card jetted correctly with the extensive amount of changes that you have made on this bike. I would advise that you take the bike to someone that has a dynometer that is equipped with an EGA and have the run the bike up. I would not want the mixture to exceed 14:1 at any time and preferrably run about 13.5:1. It's a bit on the rich side but it will help keep your engine running cooler. I've installed the carbs before but I cannot remember what jets they had in them. Sorry. Good Luck.

Replace drive belt on 1200 harley

To change the final drive belt on a Sportster is much simpler than doing the same job on a Big Twin Harley.

Support the bike so that you can remove the rear wheel, right rear shock absorber, the belt guard, and the front pulley cover. Take the old belt off and install the new one. Put the bike back together and adjust the belt to have about a 1/2" up and down movement in the middle of the belt with 10 pounds of force applied. Make sure your rear brakes work properly before you ride the bike.

While installing the belt, do not bend the belt in a radius any smaller than 4". Bending the belt too tightly will damage the cords inside the belt and may cause premature failure of the belt.
