You can loosen the tank at the back by undoing the two bolts that double as seat brackets, once youve done that you can lift it up enough to gain access but it will slip off backwards if you undo the gas tap and release the breather pipe under the tank aswell, the tank is held in place by two rubber bungs at the front that slip into two locating grooves on the tank,, slip off backwards and slips back on forwards,,you wil need long reach sparkplug sockets,, and when putting them back in finger tight them first to make sure youve got em in right

SOURCE: cant find

Remove seat and gas tank. Plugs are at center of heads. Follow the cables (black cable about 1/2" thick. You will need a very long plug wratchet to get at them.

SOURCE: spark plug type and gap setting please

I believe NGK brand is the best. Get the stock plug for your bike from the dealer. Gap should be 30 thousandths.

How many spark plugs in 2000 suzuki marauder 800

The engine on your 2000 Marauder 800 is the same 805cc engine as on my 2006 Boulevard S-50. They take two spark plugs, one per cylinder near the exhaust ports. I recommend NGK- 5129 gapped at 0.035 inches.

My 98 suzuki vz800 marauder sputters at low speeds but cruises great is this carb adjustment, fuel air mixture or sync

Could be a combo of all. Replace your spark plugs sync carbs, and run it to see how it responds before you mess with the mixtures. Also check for any vacuum leaks. Hope this helps.

98 suzuki marauder cranks over but will not start.

Hi,

- Some stupid checks to do ( but essential )
Is there fuel in the tank?
Is the fuel **** in an open, or even 'res' position?

- Remove the spark plugs, look if they aren't soaked wet.
- reconnect the ignition leads the the plugs, with the spark plugs touching the engine.
- Crank the engine and see if there are sparks at all the spark plugs.
- If yes, check for clogged carburettors and/or too low compression.
